Nebraska Electric Bike Laws

Three-class law · State parks: Varies by park

LB138 adopted the three-class system in 2023; LB95 (2015) had first made e-bikes bicycles. An e-bike has operable pedals and a motor of 750 watts and one brake horsepower or less, is a bicycle under state law, and needs no license or registration. Nebraska sets no minimum age and no helmet rule for any class.
